The employees here are always friendly and try to help you get whatever you're looking for, even if it means they have to recommend a different store, though chances are they'll have your item. Unless you go really late, there's usually someone around with knowledge in whichever field you have questions about.

Son applied and got hd credit card. Was so easy and young lady at desk was so nice. Love Orange home Depot, definitely one of the best!

Jhon in lumber , nice guy ... always helping customers. Good job

This store is laid out like other Home Depots. The staff is relatively accessible and friendly, though not knowledgeable at all -- again, about on par with other Home Depots. The two star rating is because none of the aforementioned items are going to win any stars, and chiefly because online pickup fulfillment is beyond bad -- terrible. Unfortunately this has been true at every Home Depot where I've ever tried it. I've done it about half a dozen times at Home Depot Orange, with the following results:

2. Items, especially small ones, are sometimes incorrect or not included

When at all possible, I go to the True Value in my town, but unfortunately the prices and selection get me coming back to Home Depot again and again. In 2017, a retailer of this size should have their online ordering in order. It's a true shame that Home Depot categorically fails at this.

1. It takes far, far too long (for example, order boxed item and wait three hours for them to take it off the shelf and slap a label with your name on it).

3. I've never had a large item correctly or promptly fulfilled. This includes a gas grill (tried to give me a floor model -- the wrong model; in fact they had a more expensive grill waiting for me, which I declined -- but I would have saved nearly an hour if I had taken it, as they had to track down a special machine to get the grill I had ordered off a high shelf), a circular saw (took hours, blade I'd purchased with was not there), and most recently, a cordless snow blower (they had left the floor model for me -- no manual, no batteries, no charger). Are you kidding me?

Store was quiet near closing time very helpful associates.

While I have always missed the 'local mom & pop hardware store' experience since the big box stores took over, I also have always preferred Home Depot over Lowe's. However Lowe's tends to have more convenient locations somehow. Unless I need to get something really fast I will go somewhat out of my way to go to this or other Home Depots.
