I just visited Close to Home in Orange with a problem with my Viking Rose sewing machine. As background, I had taken my machine there once before with broken bobbin winder and tune up. Sandy, recognized my and my machine from my previous visit, asked my what the problem was and then looked at the machine. She immediately smiled and said, "I think I know the problem." She sat down with me and the machine and with a minor dial adjustment had the machine stitching along beautifully. She explained the foot pressure adjustment and showed me how mine was off and was causing the problem.
The foot pedal for my thirty plus year old Bernina broke which the company no longer supported. Sandy went above and beyond to find its replacement at an excellent price. The customer service and commitment to excellence are beyond compare, especially since I had never been there.
She could have just taken my machine in for service and a less reputable shop may have charged me for an unneeded repair. She instead took the time to sit with me, taught me something and did not charge me a dime.
Great quality blinds. Very helpful staff.
We've used Close to Home on two occasions to have custom blinds fabricated and installed in our dental treatment rooms. They are prompt, courteous, and excellent at what they do. We will use them again if we have any additional windows needing blinds or shades.
Brought in my Dyson vacuum to be fixed under warranty. They fixed it in a day and were nothing but great. They even gave me a loaner because they thought it would take a week to fix. I didn't even have time to use the loaner.
